A 25 kVA single-phase pad-mounted transformer is a type of transformer that's installed on a concrete pad, typically near the point of service. The primary winding of a 25kVA transformer is composed of two or three wires that are placed in an underground vault. The secondary winding comprises one or two wires that come out of the transformer and connect to the customer's service drop.

Pole Mounted (Overhead)

A 25kVA pole-mounted transformer is a type of transformer that's installed on an above-ground pole, typically near the point of service. The reason for this configuration is so that the secondary winding of the 25kVA transformer can be connected directly to the customer's service drop.

Just like a pad-mounted variant, the primary winding of a 25kVA transformer is composed of two or three wires that run from the utility's distribution line to the 25kVA transformer.

There are two types of 25kva single-phase transformers provided by Daelim: Conventional and CSP type.

The CSP type has more lightning protection devices than the conventional type. Compared with the conventional type, there are 1-2 arresters offered in appearance.

25 kVA Single Phase Pad Mounted Transformer for Canada

Daelim Transformer, a UL-listed manufacturer, supplied eight sets of 25 kVA single-phase pad-mounted transformers to a local distributor in Canada. The customer, a transformer distributor, utilized these transformers to support power distribution in local single-family villas.

These transformers feature a dual-voltage design, with a primary voltage of 24.94GRDY/14.4×12.47GRDY/7.2 kV and a secondary voltage of 240/120V at a frequency of 60 Hz. The voltage regulating switch allows adjustment of the primary voltage with five levels of voltage regulation, ranging within ±2*2 1/2%. 25 kVA Pole Mounted Transformer for Canada (2019)

In 2019, Daelim Transformer supplied 50 units of 25 kVA pole-mounted transformers to utility customers in Canada. These transformers comply with local standards such as CSA C2.1 and CSA C802.1. They underwent testing certified by a third-party organization and obtained CSA certification.

The transformers feature a dual high-voltage design with additive polarity, porcelain bushings for high-voltage, and two-hole spade terminals for low-voltage bushings (X1, X2, X3). The X2 fuel tank is grounded. The pressure regulating switch includes five taps.

In 2022, Daelim Transformer fulfilled an inventory order for a transformer distributor in Honduras, delivering 40 units of 25 kVA pole-mounted transformers. These transformers, available for retail in the customer's offline store, adhere to IEEE C57.12.20 and ANSI C57.12 standards.

The transformers have a primary voltage of 19920V and a secondary voltage of 240/120V. They incorporate aluminum winding materials for high and low voltages, utilize CRGO as the Core Material for low loss, and have a 2% impedance value with subtractive polarity. 25 kVA Pole Mounted Transformer for the USA

Daelim Transformer provided project support for customers in the United States with a 25 kVA pole-mounted transformer meeting DOE efficiency value standards and UL listing. Equipped with two high-voltage bushings (H1, H2) and three clamp-on low-voltage terminals (X1, X2, X3), with X2 grounded, the transformer's primary voltage is 13.8 kV and secondary voltage is 120/240V. Additional specifications include BIL of 90/30kV, additive polarity, 1.98% impedance, and a color of ANSI 70 Gray.

How To Calculate Transformer Load Capacity?
