The transformer meets both UL and IEEE standards with a K2-factor. It utilizes biodegradable natural ester insulating fluid and features a sealed-tank construction for step-down, bi-directional operation. An electrostatic shield separates the HV and LV windings, complemented by an externally accessible ground shield bushing. It is equipped with a NEMA 3R protection level termination cabinet, incorporating a 14-hole grounding bus plate compatible with NEMA two-hole ground lugs in the LV compartment. LV Spade terminals are designed to accommodate a horizontal lug spacing of 2.0, featuring continuous windings without splices.
